Local producers

At Koka we have chosen to work with mainly local producers, growers and forager. We do always try to have a good environmental focus in all our parts of the business, 90 % of everything we are handling is ecological. Our main focus is on fish, shellfish and vegetables, we only serving meat in one of our menus.  

The cooking at Koka can probably be described as focused and pleasurable. The main raw material in each dish must come forward and take the place it deserves. The plates should be able to be both playful, technically driven but above all very good.

An extra dimension

Of course, all menus can be obtained vegetarian or based on seafood. The interaction between food and drink is as important to us as the dishes themselves. Therefore, we dare to say that the drink menu will add an extra dimension to your visit.

We think Koka is a very nice restaurant, but we do not want to be the classic fine dining restaurant. Come on a visit and we think you understand what we mean.

A gift card for a dining experience is the perfect gift

We have chosen to make a gift card that is valid at all our restaurants within the Kock & Vin Group. Koka, Familjen & Björns Bar. You choose the amount you want the gift card for and how many gift cards you want. The gift card is valid for one year from the date of issue. Our gift cards are delivered by email. The cards can be printed or displayed directly on your phone at the time of redemption.



At the moment we have no vacancies but if you are interested in working with us do not hesitate to send us a spontaneous email. We often need an extra hand in the kitchen or on the floor, mostly on weekends and when we have special bookings that require a lot of professional staff. If you have a genuine commitment and a team spirit then you might be just the person we are looking for. We do however prefer applicants with experience in similar work. Students with experience in restaurant work and that come with good testimonials from colleagues in the industry are always welcome.

We only take a small number of pupils, but offer a very stimulating and informative training period.

However, we require that you promise to commit yourself to the task and that you have a genuine commitment to food, drink and service. We do not take students for a shorter period than 3 weeks.
